Can you help us, my mom bought this item which we could transfer her old VHS videos safe. But we load the serial number so now we can not do anything? Please help! What should we do?

I notice you say Video Pro X is the product you are asking about. Is this correct?
However, whatever the Magix product the procedure is the same.
When you originally bought and installed your software did you register it with Magix? If so, the details should be in your account so go to this page where, once you have logged in, you will be taken to a page where all your registered products and their serial numbers should be listed.
