i need help REGARDING hip hop edition 4. there doesnt seem to be any function to create my own bass line or melody. i thought they would at least be a digital piano but i cant seem to find it anywhere. the demo didnt help. this is my first attempt on the magix series and so far im very disapointed. all i am able to do is use the pre-loaded samples that came with it on soundpool. i was hoping to create my own songs but all i am able to do is use other created samples. iv searched for the piano funtion but there isnt one so im really unsure what exactly i am cample of. iv had this producted a few days now and getting fustraited with my perchase. if anybody has this too and can help me out i wud appreciate the help. im hoping that maybe i havent looked hard enuff but i just cant seem to find where i can create my own sound if u understand what i mean. i thought that this was a good way of making a song from scratch but all i seem to b able to do with this product is arrange other peoples samples. if anybody knows how i can bring up a keyboard and create my own sound such as a melody that i would love to find out. thank you so much

Hi,

Did you download the additonal products that your email mentioned?  If not, open the application, click "help", then "Update Program/Upgrade Functions", then "download free synthesiser and sound packets" and download anything else that is not already shown as installed.

Good luck

The Hip-Hop 4 Special Edition costs less than even the Basic version of MAGIX Music Maker.  It is fair to say, you should expect to get less.  Nowhere in their "documentation" online does it mention the Vita MIDI Editor or any virtual instruments in relation to the Hip-Hop 4 Special Edition.

There's an old saying,...."You get what you pay for."

Hi,

Watch this video tutorial and you will clearly see at about the 5 minute mark where it shows the synthesizers included in the version you purchased, there are only 3 included.  They are BeatBox 2, LiViD, and Silver.  Nowhere does it show Vita or any other synthesizers.
