SF Pro 12.1 (Suite) cursor disappears in playback

This is an old problem, resurfacing in the newest version. I can't see the cursor line in playback. I have a powerful PC and loads of memory, and I've seen the cursor in playback on this PC for a few years now with previous versions, and since the new install, today, it disappears. Thoughts?

Hi Bob and welcome to the MAGIX Sound Forge forum.
I do not recall any bugs that would cause this behavior in Pro 12 or earlier versions, nor have I experienced it..  except when one or more of the settings were inadvertently changed. Custom display colors could hide it (Options> Preferences> Display) Also check:
"Options> "Seek cursor on playback" (keyboard shortcut: F) (confirm this parameter is engaged (box check marked)  (keyboard shortcut: F, toggles on/off).
Also try disabling "Allow Ctrl+Drag style zoom in data windows"
and "Allow Ctrl+Drag style cursor scrub in data windows"

This was useful.....F key toggles the seek cursor setting off and on. https://www.magix.info/us/forum/sf-pro-12-1-suite-cursor-disappears-in-playback--1224356/
