Installed the SF17 and it will not load. It starts. The picture shows up. The initializer bar begins to fill, and then POOF! It's gone. Any suggestions?
@Gene-Greer Check the Windows Reliability Monitor for detailed crash reports. For this, press the Windows key and R on your computer keyboard. This will open the Run window. Type perfmon /rel and press Enter. This will open the Windows Reliability Monitor. Navigate to the red cross icons in the timetable and double click on the crash entry. This opens a detailed crash report. You can copy and paste it here. Maybe we can find out what the cause of the crash is.
My guess is that is has something to do with the VST scan or the audio driver.
@Gene-Greer Thanks. It looks like you have Sound Forge Audio Studio, which comes with the Music Maker ASIO driver. This one seems to have compatibility problems with your system and crashes the app.
To uninstall Magix Low Latency you can press the Windows key + R on your computer keyboard, and type REGEDIT in the Open field:
Then navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > ASIO > Magix Low Latency 2016:
Now, simply right click the Magix Low Latency 2016 folder, and delete it.
Then restart your computer. Please select the Restart option and not the Shut down option.
