"Shapes & object Basic" transitions don't work

I have Magix Movie Edit Pro version 18.0.1.209 on Windows.

Simply put, I can't use any of the transitions in the "Shapes & objects Basic" category. Dragging them from the media pool into my timeline does nothing, no matter where I drag it. Whether on a video object or between two video objects or just over blank space, nothing happens.

This is a different behavior than other transitions, for example the ones under "3D Basic". Those I can drag into blank space and onto video objects and they behave normally.

I just recently upgraded to this version of Movie Edit Pro from an old copy of 2013, but my workflow heavily relies on these transitions and now a project may suffer. A little disappointed honestly. Please let me know what I can do. Thanks!

Hi,

They work fine for me; I tried a half a dozen of them. Try updating to the latest patch, 18.0.2.235.
