Show Audio

I am new to Magix Pro 2015 Plus and have a very simple question/request.
How or where do I show the audio track that is part of a video? When editing, at times, the audio dictates where to cut the video. I'm sure there must be a simple command the show the audio along with the video in timeline mode.

Right click the video clip and select Audio functions, Show video and audio on seperate tracks.

You can make this occur everytime you import a video by unchecking the Video audio on one track option in the programs settings - Video / audio tab - also check the Create waveform ... option on the same tab if you are dependant on the audio for where to cut.

Thanks John, that was easy once I knew the procedure.

How about another question, I'd like to save my edited movie in a MP4 format to be able to view & share without the need for MAGIX however it doesn't apear to want me to. Defaults to MVP format.

Hi Dave,

You save Projects; you export what you edited. Go to File, Export and select the appropriate format.

I suggest that you read through the first part of the manual, and especially the Quick Start chapter. This will save you a lot of headache and time.
