Slideshow glitches

Cory-Whiteman wrote on 9/23/2025, 11:37 AM

I am new to Photostory and I'm unable to find the answer to this quesiton. When I play the slideshow the photos glitch and are not smooth at all. I tried to export it to see if it is just the playback on the software, but the export freezes 20% into the exportation and I only had about 20 photos when I tried to export. I have 54 photos now and I still can't export it even trying windows media player with the web quality, it freezes at 17%. Are the specs for my computer the right requirements?

Hi

Your computer specs look fine for Photostory.

Assuming the Samsung EVO is an internal drive, ie not a USB external drive, check the Device options Video Mode is set to the Intel UHD 630 as shown below.

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

With sincere apologies but I have removed the image you posted since it contains confidential data about your computer which could enable a hacker to potentially attack it. Please ensure that you do not include any serial numbers, product IDs or similar if you wish, perfectly reasonably, to show us your computer specs.

In terms of your question, can you tell us rather more about the format of the photos you are using in your slideshow? Are they ones which PS can handle? Scroll to the bottom of this page to check that your files can be imported and/or exported from the program.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do I find the Device options for the video mode?
