Hope someone can help. I recently upgraded my laptop so that I would get better previewing with Movie Maker. To begin with it was great (a few weeks) then suddenly I'm down to 2fps and a two second lag - quite unusable, obviously!

I use Avast and have loaded, run then deleted Spybot and Malwarebytes which found nothing.

I don't know what details of my system to put here to help someone know what might be going on so please tell me what I should add and I'll do it.
