Smart Rendering crashes at random locations

I have typically a single 60-90 minute AVCHD file from Canon HF-G25 (1920*1080 50i).

All I do to edit it is to cut some idle parts away (in this case it's a kids football match), add title at the beginning and score at the end. Then I apply crossfade to all transitions and a couple of chapter markers.

So far so good but when I try to burn this on a BluRay disc with Smart Render on, some movies are completed without anyt problems whatsoever but others become a constant pain in the youknowwhat.

Smart rendering simply crashes at random points in the film without any apparent reason and the error message is all but useless. It always fails at a section that should be good for Smart Rendering but for some reason Magix Movie Edit Pro 2013 claims that it isn't and stops there. No explanation why and it doesn't even switch for normal rendering and keep going.

The only way to "fix" this is to cut randomly few seconds from the start or end of this section, remove crossfades from the beginning or cut out chapter markers and titles if one is at either end but it will take days to burn a single 60 minute BluRay and I could really do with some help. It's absolutely annoying to wait each time 2,5 hours to see that the program stops at the very same location and then try randomly something else with similar outcome (after said 2,5 hours).

There is nothing wrong with the BluRay burning if the program ever gets that far.

Hi

If you have GPU acceleration turned on in the Program settings as shown here

Check that the Calculate video effects on GPU in the burn dialog is not turned on.

I have found that this can cause the issues you are having.
