Hi Terry

A very obvious question - is the the video clip you are applying the cut to grouped  with the audio object directly below on track 4?

If so then the video object will not move left as you expect because it cannot move the audio object on track 4.

Hi John,

No grouping. Only that single object is selected (yellow). The 'Cut...' transition should drag that clip and everything to its right leftward to join the previous object. Instead, the previous object gets lengthened to the right!

The locked track 4 is totally independent of the other tracks.

Hi Terry

Try grouping the video with the original sound on track 2.

I have just experienced a situation when trying to extract the 6 surround channels from the original recording that it will not allow it if the audio is ungrouped. Probably something to do with the fact that the sound track is mixed down (virtually) to stereo on import and ungouping it loses the link to the original material and references a different stereo file.

Hi Peter,

The issue is easily reproduced. It occurs with still images, not just video clips. Here's the simplest example:

Thanks John. I've sent a ticketed report. Seems like a bug to me.

Edit: Prompt response from Magix Support, who confirm it is 'unexpected program behaviour' and are reporting to development.
