Sounds like something has corrupted.

With MEP closed - using the Windows Explorer search function, search  your computers C: drive for videodeluxe.ini.

You should find several copies of this file - the one you want is the largest in file size - delete it or move it to another location eg Desktop.

Start MEP - hopefully it will start correctly and recreate the ini file.

I installed Advance Systemcare8 - and ran their scan and deep uninstaller  - which removed what was causing the problem...   Advance Systemcare 8 is  free stable software system care program...
