I am using Music Maker SE. I am having trouble with sound. An error message flashes saying: "Direct Sound Error: Direct Sound Create Failed. I am using Windows 7 Premium 64-Bit. Can you assist me in identifyig the Problem Please.

That is the correct version.
Try changing to the playback setting (1) in the image below if there is no change keep this setting and try the other options available in the dropdown (2) in the image.
If none of these work try updating your sound cards drivers and check its settings.
