. . . . Where/how do I download the music and sound effects that come with MEP Plus? . . . .
Help, Install extra content - follow through the dialog - note the downloads are large and may take a while before they start installing. I would suggest you check the option to keep the downloads after install - if you have to re-install at anytime they help speed up the process.
I'm honestly not sure whether there are any "sound effects" to download.
By default, all Magix downloads go to C:\Users\your user name\Documents\MAGIX Downloads.Once everything is installed it is a comparatively simple task to move all the files to a location of your choice.
BTW, I would seriously suggest you download everything available to you. Only by doing that can you be sure you have a version of MEP that is working as the developers, and other users, would expect.
. . . . I upgraded to the PLUS version. Shouldn't I have all of these? . . .
Not necessarily - assuming you have downloaded and installed all the extra content.
I am on the Premium version and have upgraded through the versions, so some may have come from the earlier versions I had, also there is some 'duplication' as some individual loops are present in several categories. This is something you should always check when purchasing extras.
I too, like John, have the Premium edition of Movie Edit Pro and also have those showing in the shop area.
They were not there when I installed my new copy of MEP. In fact the look of the shop area has changed. Possibly with the update of the update notifier a few weeks ago. I am assuming these have been added recently. Whether available to all versions of MEP I don't know. That really is a sketchy amount of effects on offer though.
