Sound Forge Pro and Yamaha Reface FX USB MIDI recording to PC

Hi,

I just got a Yamaha Reface DX keyboard and hooked it up to the PC via USB.

I want to know if it's possible to do direct MIDI recording from the Yamaha keyboard to Sound Forge Pro 15, and if possible what do I need to do on the Sound Forge end to get it working?

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Sound Forge Pro is an audio editor so cannot record MIDI data. You can record the audio output of your keyboard to SF, but not the MIDI output.
