Sound out of Sync.

kodiakarts wrote on 2/7/2015, 9:32 PM

Many people have had sound issues before with MEP, but until now I never did. All the sound plays perfectly in the project, but when I burn it to a Blu-Ray the audio is out of sync, I can't understand why this is happening, or what I can do to fix it. If anyone has any suggestions it would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

Hi

Please read this post

This question is a regular - if you use the search box on the right and search for Sync you will probably find a solution to your problem.

Without further information we cannot help you.

Ok, the problem is simple. Editing the project all the audio is in sync with the video, after burning project to either DVD or Blu-Ray, the audio is no longer in sync, I've searched looking for anyone with the same problem and only found a few that a similar but not exact and they didn't get any answers to their questions. Adding the latest patch (14.0.0.116) only made matters worse, now I get Encoding errors and can't burn any disks, and now MEP crashes when it never did before the patch.

Hi

. . . . now I get Encoding errors and can't burn any disks, and now MEP crashes when it never did before the patch . . . .

Locate the following files for the specific project and delete, rename or move them to another folder -

  • in the video folder where the project files are - .H0 and .HDP and any proxy files if created (they will have the word 'proxy' in their name

  • in the Disc image folder - rename the DVD and/or BD folders which begin DVD or BD and contain the name of the project

Try burning the project again - use the Image Recorder option so the project DVD or BD is written to the hard drive and not to disc.

HTH

John.

@John Baker,

Could you please take a look at the other question by Kodiakarts? I don't know if the 2 problems are related.
