Soundtrack Maker Module

when I click on soundtrak maker the system asks me to install the extra module "soundtrack style" where do I find this module? I downloaded movie edit pro and using the trail version.

Hi,

unfortunately this could be a bug. To try out sound track maker you need a lot of content from different music styles. These are included in the full version via an extra download link for free. But this link seems not to be included in the trial version, if there is no link in the help menu (additional downloads or ad-ons)

Not an answer, but a note to say that I have the same problem. My electronically purchased version does not provide the links to install the additional content neded for Soundtrack Maker and other content seems to be missing as well. The download link in the help menu just takes me to the Magix home page. Seems as though the trial version does not fully activate?

No one has an answer to this? I have the exact same problem with Soundtrack Maker. Click on it and I get the message that I need to install the "module" but I can find Zero information about this "module" anywhere in the program Help or on this website. What's really weird is that when I downloaded the Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus trial, the Soundtrack Maker worked....and very nicely too making a very good soundtrack....but now that I've paid to activate the program, the Soundtrack Maker IS GONE. What the heck? PLEASE someone from support or a knowledgeable user PLEASE help. Thank you!

Welcome to the Magix forums.

First, it would be very helpful to know a lot more about the exact version and variant of Movie Edit Pro you have and about the computer you are running it on. This post tells you what we need to know.

Are you running the Trial version of your software? If so, you will not be able to download and access the Soundtrack Maker until and unless you decide to purchase it. Once you have bought the software you will receive an email with your serial number which will allow you to register the program and then download ALL the additional "parts/features" of it, which will include the Soundtrack Maker styles etc. If you want to enjoy the full functionality of the program you have bought it is essential that you ensure you download EVERYTHING that is available to you.

OTOH, if you have already bought the program and downloaded and installed all the available extras, that is a different problem but we do need you to confirm exactly what is your situation.

Hi,

Further to what Jeff said, this is a very old thread. You should open a separate one. I purchased some styles earlier this year and they are installed properly, by me, in more than one version. Give us more detail as to what you did, but, like I said, a new thread would be better, especially for other users who may have the same problem with the most recent versions of MEP.
