@carlosedubarreto Did you check if you need to download this feature under the help menu? I don't own SF Audio Studio but many Magix softwares have additional features that must be downloaded via the help menu. It could be the same for SF Audio Studio.

Hi

See the comparison chart for Sound Forge here -this is for the latest version 14.

You need the Pro Suite version for Spectralayers.

Intersting, on version 12 it seemed that the spetral analysis was inside SoundForge itself.

Maybe it was not so good, and they found out the best option was to add a senior software to that matter.

Thanks a lot for your input, I ended up buying SF14 pro The price was really low comparing to the usual price.

It may have been a 'lite' (very lite) version of Spectralayers, which was recently acquired by Steinberg. As JB stated, Steinberg Spectralayers Pro 7 is included in the SF Pro-14 Suite.

Sorry for asking this, but did you installed spectralayer?

I can see from your print that the 2 options above (edit in spetralayer and send to spectralayer) are disabled.

In my soundforge its enabled.

And bythe way, for me, even having spectralayer installed, this "Edit in Spectralyer (ARA)" soenst seems to work. It opens the Spectralayer inside Soundforge, but it does not send the audio to the window, So I cant do anything.

But check the instalation of Spectralayer, because you will probably be able to edit using spectrum using the options above (not the ara version)

Purchased sound forge suite nov 2020

Do not see spectralayer....see iZotope, convology, update_notifier, Noise_reduction_pack.

Guess spectralayers is not included....

Maybe you could donwload the installer again to see what shows there

SpectaLayers Pro 7 is included with the SF Pro-14 Suite version and you should have been sent a separate serial code, SL 7 can be downloaded directly from Steinberg.
