stereoscopic 4K project questions/Fragen: VPX / video card / PC specs

Hi, I'm a longtime user of MEP 16+HD on a quad core PC with HD 3dTV. Now I'm working on a stereoscopic 4K project, have already upgraded the TV to a LG 4K 3dTV (passive 3d), and will be upgrading my PC and (presumably) to Video Pro X. If anyone here is using VPX for 4K post production, could you please consider my questions and give tips if possible.

(Ich empfange Antworten gerne auch auf Deutsch)

1. Can VPX handle stereoscopic 4K editing, and what output formats do you produce? If VPX were not appropriate for 4K stereoscopic post production, can you recommend an alternate solution? I would love to continue using Magix software, because I really like the UX in MEP... I assume it will be similar in VPX?

2. MEP was great on the HD 3dTV, because I could set the preview panel to show 3d "interlaced" and it would show in proper 3d on the TV, without having to switch the TV to 3d mode. Very convenient. This worked because MEP was sending the interlaced video at exactly the same (vertical) resolution as the TV. Will Video Pro X be able to do the equivalent in UHD/4K, i.e. send a UHD vertical resolution to our 4K 3dTV (with the appropriate video card)?

3. What specs on the PC, what operating system, what video card would be IDEAL for editing stereoscopic 4K content, using our LG 4K passive 3dTV? Would it be better to maximize GPU/video card power, or is it better to maximize the number of cores in the CPU, or maximize CPU speed? How much DRAM would be ideal?

Many thanks for any advice!

Auf Deutsch:

1. Kann VPX fuer stereoskopische 4K videos benutzt werden?

Vielen Dank fuer Hinweise

Mit freundlichem Gruss aus Virginia.
