Strange attempts (by MEP 2014?) to open MEP 17.

This is another obscure one. Quite often recently, while working in MEP 2104 (usually while testing various effects in Movement Templates), I'll suddenly get an MEP window warning me that I'm attempting to open MEP 17 simultaneously. (It's the same one that appears when you manually try to do so from the Start menu or a desktop shortcut.)

Has anyone else ever seen such behaviour please?

Edit: I've solved part of this puzzle. It seems that somehow I must be accidentally triggering the Change operation shown here. But despite the fact that .IFX files are associated with MEP 2014 via the usual Tools > Folder operations > File Types route, they seem hard-wired in MEP to MEP17.
