Sudden inability to import files from URL

For some time now I have been importing MP3 files into SOUND FORGE Audio Studio 14 (x64) from the web. Suddenly I am getting a message that the file type is unsupported, even though it is the same file type from the same website that I've been using for months. Has anyone else had this problem and did you come up with a fix?

@Joe-Dahl I would suggest you reset the program settings via the File menu.

Hi @Joe-Dahl, do MP3 files that are already in your PC open in Sound Forge? If they can not be opened, as well, try resetting Sound Forge and clearing the cache. 'File> "Reset all preferences and clear cached data". This has been known to resolve most MP3 issues in Sound Forge.
Most of your custom user settings will be reset back to the factory defaults though.
