Support Says I Can Install Vegas on Two Computers, But I Cannot

Hello Everyone!

Thanks for any and all help!

I have a desktop at home that I normally use, but I have a laptop when I'm traveling, which happens a lot.

I had no idea that I wouldn't be able to use my license on my own second computer, and I just filmed over 10 hours of screencasting footage on my main desktop that I now need to transfer to my laptop just to edit it.

And if I don't want to do that, I need to deactivate my laptop for a month, which won't work because I need it when I travel and make videos.

How can I get at least 1 extra install so I can let my desktop work on these projects as well?

Hi,

This is not the Vegas community. See the Important Posts at the top of this forum, or in Vegas, Help, Vegas Community.

That said, unless you have a subscription, you can use the program on 2 computers (devices). Did you try?

Check your account on Magix.com, My products, to make sure that you have not activated twice already, sometimes to the same computer. To deactivate, do not go through the program, use your account. You can do it every day if you want, no limit as far as I know.
