Template/Basic Intro/Outro issue when inserting to video

Joseph-Murphy5166 wrote on 5/24/2025, 6:42 PM

After inserting video in the timeline I am trying to insert a intro and outro from the Template/Basic Intro Outro Annimations. I am trying to use the Blue Sky Intro and the Blue Sky Outro. When I add the Blue Sky Intro the mark the end of the video to insert the Blue Sky Outro it deletes the Blue Sky Intro from the beginnig of the video and vise versa. I have tried different videos and Intro and Outro Templates and they all do the same thing. I am running Magix Move Studio Suite 2025 Ver 24.0.1.239 on a Hp computer Intel i7 2.7 Ghz 64 Gb Ram on Windows 10 Pro. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Each part needs it's own object to be attached to. That is, the intro needs to be with a piece of video, and the Outro has to be with a separate piece of video. So, just put a cut somewhere on your continuous video and you'll be able to add the Outro to the last part. Make sure to select it first.

Thanks John, that did work. Just seems a lot to do versus other editors I have. What I did try and it worked was I inserted my video made my edits inserted the intro then exported then imported back and added the outro then exported again. Cutting the video then adding the outro seemed cumbersome because of the grouping and ungrouping just to set the outro in the right spot. It's all good. Thanks...

Hi

. . . . inserted my video made my edits inserted the intro then exported then imported back and added the outro then exported again . . . .

In terms of workflow and good practice, this method should only be used as a last resort,. Depending on the format you export to and re-import, there is a significant risk of reducing image quality.

The method also takes much longer than making one single cut, which does not affect the final exported video, and adding the Intro/Outro to each section.
