Tempo recognition assistant

I am having trouble using the tempo recognition assistant in MEP 16 plus.

I am trying to cut clips to the beat... It looks simple but I can t see any beat markers on the timeline after

I checked a previous post but I still can t get around it.

I follow the steps

and then nothing...

Am I doing something wrong?

We should have picked this up from your other post and screen shots 😨

Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus, is not compatible with Windows 10 and may be the cause of the issues you are having.

BTW - in the image you have posted the audio is severely clipped, and may sound distorted.

Looks like I am good to get the X version.... Otherwise which version is compatible with windows 10?

I would suggest you download the trial version to test before you purchase - the trial versions of MEP and VPX have some limitations eg only allows 3 mins export and does not come with all the templates, effects etc however it should be sufficient to test for the issues you are having.

You do not have to uninstall version 16, I would advise you leave it installed for a period if you buy MEP or VPX.
