Text object not show on the program monitor.

Magix Video Premium 2022, text not show on the program monitor, I have this issue for months already and not even the 21.0.2.130 update solved this problem, I create a text object then after awhile it disappear from the screen the only thing I can do to see it again is to load other project and then reload the one before and then I get to see it again.

I don't know if it's a bug but is really annoying to repeat this process every time I got this issue.

Hi,

Move the text object to a higher numbered track so that it sits on top. Right now, it's covered by the png object on track 5.

OK, I'll try that one next time, but Magix Video Premium 2022 came with many issues, I didn't have this problem in the 2019 or 2020 version with this setup and I did hundred of videos for youtube using this program, thanks.

HI

What are the Program settings, Device options tab Import, Processing and Export options set to?

Are the drivers for the Radeon and GTX 1650 GPU's up to date?

Are the logos, and World cup image, png images with transparent background or have they had the Chromakey or Alpha effect applied?

Hi,

Yes, I can see now that your logos are all smaller, but without seeing all tracks, it's not obvious.

I have seen similar things happen in the latest versions of both VPX and MEP and switching the Device Options usually turned the title or object back on, then I could switch back. There are still problems with this version, some of which are hard to reproduce.

Well, I just found out that by reducing the program monitor the text object show up back again, maybe this is the solution till the bug is fixed or whatever is causing this in my computer.

I wonder if the program is also trying to use the Radeon Vega Graphics processor as well as the nvidia card? I know that Intel GPUs are used with rendering text. It does not have to be selected for processing to be used if all the program settings are set to use the nvidia card. The program will automatically try to use the Radeon GPU as well.

If so is that graphics driver also up to date as the program can use more than one GPU and I cannot replicate this behaviour.

In the program settings Import / Processing / Export, try changing Processing to CPU and see if the problem persists. If the problem goes away then either the drivers are not up to date or the program cannot effectively use the AMD graphics chip. If the driver is up to date and it does not work when the nvidia driver is set for all processing needs then you should inform Magix you have found a bug in my opinion.

Ray.

Hi

@CubeAce commented - 'If the driver is up to date and it does not work when the nvidia driver is set for all processing needs then you should inform Magix you have found a bug in my opinion'.

Before assigning this as a possible bug, there is one more check to make to see if the Nvidia can be forced to do everything.

In Windows Settings, Graphics settings, Graphics Performance settings

  1. If Movie Studio is not listed in the dropdown, click Browse and got to the programs installation folder and select videodeluxe.exe (moviestudio.exe ?)

  2. Select and change the Graphic preference setting shown below to the Nvidia GTX 1650 - ignore the red arrow.

This should force Movie Studio to use the GTX for everything.

Note in the image I am using Movie Edit Pro before the name change to Movie Studio
