in the pdf file it states:

 

"Text to speech

In this dialog reached in the Effects > Audio dialog, you can get speech from
typed text. You can choose from a range of different types of voices. You can
change the speed and volume of the spoken passages. Once you've settled
on a suitable voice a WAV file will be created. This can of course be used in
the arranger like any other audio object"

 

and also..

 

"Voice: You can choose from various voice types

 

I have only Microsfot Anna..

 

what gives?

am I doing something wrong?

You are right about this.

When I had contacted Magix support I was told there is only one speech available in US English version.

Hi

The voices used are from the Microsoft text to Speech engine built into Windows.

Search the Internet for 'microsoft text to speech engine voices' to find more also see here
