TTS is available if you are a registered user of the full version of VDL 2026, via the MAGIX Hub tab in the app. I'm not sure whether STT is also available similarly, I don't currently have the full version of VDL 2026.

EDIT: to add, I found this help page about the STT feature in VDL. Again, it is via the MAGIX Hub.
Indeed TTS worked like that in the free test version (4000 characters), but in the paid for version it says
"A valid subscription or product with a hub quota is required to use MAGIX TTS services"...😡 is this a bug or do I really have to buy something additional?
The version of VDL26 I bought (just a few weeks ago) is 25.0.1.248. I also downloaded the offered extra content and checked on the available updates. Yes I know how to use the hub and I am logged in and I did register and activated the app.
Before I bought it I downloaded the 30 days Trial version and used that for a month, including the TTS functionality although that was limited to 4000 characters. However, my current Paid For version shows the mentioned comment when I try to use TTS. It refers me to a page to buy the services for TTS .
The small 2 minutes project I used to get a feel of what Magix can do with AI used STT and TTS "Maarten" (a Microsoft voice) and used <1200 characters, thus that cannot be the problem. To me it seems that VDL includes the TTS functionality, but not the character capacity, but I would like to have some verification from other users that this is the case before I pay for 20.000 characters TTS capacity.
