The audio and video track in the timeline are progressively going out of sync on an MPG file.

firemedicusa wrote on 4/9/2014, 11:06 AM

The one hour clip was automatically splitted into three MPG files. At the end of each approx 30 min file the video shows some jidder and skipping for approx. 3 seconds while the audio remains unaffected. The 3 seconds are consistant with the outof sync time by the end of each MPG segment. The MPG when watched on i.e Windows media player, does not have any sync isues. The problem only exists after import into the time line.

Any suggestions?

Hi

This issue with mpg files has been raised many times before.

Right click each clip on the timeline and select Create frametable (new) - this should fix the problem.

It would also help if we knew which version of MEP you are using and the version number.

Make sure that MEP is up to the latest (last) patch for the version you have.
