The drag & drop for images & videos stopped working in MEP 2014 Plus. Anyone else having this issue?

For some reason I can no longer drag and drop videos to different sizes and positions in MEP 2014 Plus. It used to work fine and just all of a sudden it stopped working one day.

I tried re-intalling the software but it didnt help.

Anyone have the same issues or know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Craig

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand what dragging you mean but I'll assume it's in the Preview Monitor while using the Size/Position dialog. A screenshot would help though.

Are you sure you have Size/Position in Edit mode, not Preview?

Hey Terry,

I used to be able to re-size images and videos using my mouse, then drag them to whatever position I wanted.

for some reason i can no longer do this. i now have to do this using the size and location fields (in MOVEMENT EFFECTS > SIZE/POSITION), which is more tedious.

could this have something to do with EDIT mode vs PREVIEW mode?

I can't seem to find where this is defined, so I can check to see what mode I am in. Can you tell me where to find this?

Thanks!

Toggle this button between Edit or Preview. You need it to be displaying 'Preview' for editing by dragging etc.

I still don't understand where and how you were doing this before!
