I believe you can use MEP on a Mac running special sofware that creates a windows environment, but I don't know how this affects performance.

Additional to Carls answer:

This question has been asked several times whether MEP will run on a MAC using emulator software.

The simple answer is it will run on Windows emulator software.

However you lose some functionality - the most common loss is that MEP is unable to access the DVD drive for burning.
