the studio mx disk wont run but the music maker mx ran fine

i bought music maker mx and studio mx.the music maker mx disk ran fine but the studio mx disk wont even show up,or run

There are two possible causes:

1. You have put a DVD disc in a CD drive.

2. The disc is bad - in this case contact Sales at Magix for a replacement.

but both the disc are dvd format,and the disc worked on another computer before.

Does the DVD drive recognise other DVD discs OK?

If it does then there is a problem with the Magix disc.

If not then there is a problem with the DVD drive.

Can you see the contents of the disc?

If yes then Autorun is not working - look for a file called autorun.inf and double click it or locate the setup file and double click that. Either should start the installation.

yea autorun is working,it plays all other disc fine,it runs the music maker disc good,but the other 2 disc i got dont work,its the bundle packege with music,maker mx,samplitude music studio mx,and the soundpool disc,all of them say dvd.i dont understand how the disc works on other somputers but not mine.it says its compatable,and the disc drive works fine.i really dont know

Either way you have a problem :

1. with the DVD drive - difficult to test without substituting another DVD drive.

2. the two extra discs - again difficult to test without another set.
