Hi

Are you doing other activities on the computer while the Download Manager is downloading the software?

If so, start the Download Manager and do nothing on the computer until the download is complete or fails.

If it fails then the most likely causes are

  1. the Internet connection is dropping
  2. Antivirus is blocking the download while checking what has been downloaded
  3. The Magix servers are undergoing maintenance or are under heavy load - try again later

I do not advise turning off anti-virus, however if you can minimize its scan activities while downloading it may help.

Hello Joseamanuel.

I would first check that your firewall and antivirus are not blocking the download. Make sure no other programs are running as something like using your audio could possibly stop a driver from installing. Most f the time though it's a person's antivirus program. Kaspersky and Norton are a bit zealous with their blocking of downloads. You could try disabling for a short period but don't web browse during the download.

Internet speed may be another factor but I have had no problems with the Magix servers recently.

[Edit] Just seen John beat me to replying and I agree disabling antivirus can be risky but it's your choice.

If you don't feel technically competent, then it's probably not a good idea.
