There is no timeline control

My version of Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus Download Version has no way to switch to timeline view. Supposed to be a button to switch between storyboard, scene, timeline and multicam views as in p. 24-25 of manual and tutorial videos. No matter what video I load these are not there. Running Win 7 64 bit. Software is Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 DL version, vers. 10.0.12.2   I tried to run the latest patch but it said version is up to date.

Hi

Are you saying these controls are missing?

If so try pressing F9 to reset the window arrangement.

If that does not work then try resetting the program to its defaults - File, Settings, Reset program settings to default.

"Hi

Yes-that''s exactly what was missing.

"If so try pressing F9 to reset the window arrangement.-did not work"- That did not work.

"If that does not work then try resetting the program to its defaults - File, Settings, Reset program settings to default.

HTH

Jon"-  that last suggestion is what worked. Result was the 4 controls re appeared along with the dialog box of "what do you want to do" which had not been there. Thanks a lot"  Frank
