Title Editor cuts off half of text when exporting

friendflyer wrote on 12/21/2017, 7:18 AM

this problem started a few months ago off and on and all of a sudden it's nonstop. When I create a title like this below it is fine until I export it and then it gets immediately cut off regardless of the settings of the title object. No updates available, my MEP is fully updated.

This is in the program

this is after export

it's always the left half of the object and I don't know why??? any ideas?

Hi.

First, your version of MEP is not fully updated I'm afraid. The latest version is 17.0.2.159. If you cannot access this latest version I suspect your "subscription" may have expired and no further updates will be available to you unless you renew it. You need to go to your account page at Magix.com and check.

Second, are you running the Basic, Plus or Premium version?

Third, can you show a screenshot, similar to your first one, but with the title object highlighted as if for editing?

Fourth, do you any section/zoom or similar effect on the video clip?

Hi

To add to Jeff's points:

5. Where has the text in the bottom left corner of the second image come from?

6. Are you exporting to a lower resolution?

7. What format are you exporting to?

8. In addition to Jeffs third point, include a screen shot of the surrounding area on the timeline to show all objects around the text object, include all occupied tracks - maximising the Arranger will help ensure a readable image.

@johnebaker

I think I can answer your question 5: I would guess that friendflyer has titled his video "Death Penalty". I'm pretty certain that screenshot is taken from the view of the footage in Win10 Film and TV app.
