Hi,

Could you explain what you mean by "safe title frame?"

I suggest that you review the chapter about titles in MEP and try it out. Other than just a title by clicking on the T, there are specially formatted titles under the titles table in the media pool part of the screen.

A title is simply a box that is located on the screen at a default location. You decide where you want it to be located, the font, size, colour, effects, duration, fade-in/out, etc. There are no guide lines. Try playing with tittes and reading the help to understand further.

Thanks John!

The safe title frame is the area in which a title will accurately appear on a television screen w/o being cut off, for example: http://louisville.edu/ocm/policies/safezones.jpg

Other video softwares have this feature available and I was wondering if Magix had it as well. Thank you!

Hi,

Ok, now I understand.

See TV cropping in the manual.

On the top menu, click on Effects, choose Effect settings movies. On the resulting screen, select the tab "TV cropping." and follow the instructions.
