Titler Pro 6 difficulties

cnitteberg wrote on 6/13/2019, 4:08 AM

I am testing out Titler Pro 6 in VPX11, but am having some issues. If I add an title on to a video object have effects added to it this effects are added to the titler pro title too. So I tried to add the titler Pro effect to a custom background instead, but the resolution on that is extremely bad. Any tips on how to add the titler pro effect to a separate object and get good quality on it? and or how to get the titler pro effect not to be affected of the other effects on the video object?

So I solved it my self. I made a transparent .png file in photoshop and added that to the timeline and added the Titler Pro 6 effect to that. This worked out perfectly.😃Here is the blank png file if anyone wants it.

@cnitteberg

Hi

. . . . a transparent .png file . . . .

I have been having a similar problem with both VPX and MEP with video clips and have resorted to doing the same to make video clips to appear in the preview window.

Hi John - looks like another bug to add to both the MEP and VPX lists - does not fix the black screen issue with some NB OpenFX though.

@cnitteberg

Hi,

Just for clarity, are the effects applied to the video object before or after adding the title, or does the problem happen in both cases?

I tested NB Titler EX, and it doesn't have this problem either way, so it's definitely a bug.

I would prefer that the NB Title be a separate object to which we could apply additional effects, like movement. I presume that NB Titler Pro 6 allows full access to movement effects, correct?

It happens in both cases, but as long as the titler pro is applied to a video object I guess it is ok that this happens since VPX doesn`t give us the option to change the order of the effects anyway, but Yes the Titler Pro should definitely be applied as an object itself. This will solve this problem. But apply it to a blank .png file with transparent bakground solved it.

Here is another link to the blank png file. Let me know if it works
