Trying to simply edit out a few frames from a sequence in Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus

I'm very new to this software and finding tutorials, which must be out there somewhere, isn't too easy.

At the moment all I'm attempting to do is to remove a few frames from the beginning of a sequence. If anyone knows of some good tutorials for begining users of this software, I'd appreciate knowing about them. Thanks

terrylee,

I'm reading your question on the 'Questions & Answewrs' section of Magix.info. Two tabs over is 'Tutorials' -- says there are 245 on video! See also the other Magix user forum  http://support2.magix.net/boards/magix/index.php?showforum=113 where the top link is to tutorials.

For a quick start, you must be in 'timeline' mode where your video clips appear on numbered tracks. Place the play cursor where you want to make your cut and hit the [T] key. If you then click within the part to be removed to select it, you can use [Ctrl + Del] key to remove and close the gap.

There are also some other ways such as 'remove all from start' button and the trimmer. Magix is known (not) for clear documentation, but the 'Help' file (from the top menu bar or the standard Windows [F1] key) is pretty clear on simple editing functions though you may have to read here and there to find what you need.

Regards,

Carl
