Vegas Movie Studio Platinum v17. After entering the serial number and my email, clicking the yellow "activate and register immediately online" button results in an error "An online connection could not be established." It appears to be trying to use internet explorer settings to accomplish this, but i have no idea why. I run Windows 10 enterprise. I tried resetting the IE settings, rebooting, and registering again, but it failed in the same manner. I was using the software just 2 weeks ago, but got a new laptop for work, so am trying to move over to that laptop. i have no idea what else to try to activate my software.
