Unable to Export to MP3 due to Hardware acceleration error.

Chloe-S wrote on 9/13/2021, 4:32 AM

I have previously been able to export audio to MP3 however this has now errored to the point I can no longer export any audio to MP3.

The error message is;

"Hardware acceleration has been deactivated. Possible causes: incompatible graphics card drivers or graphics hardware that does not comply with the application's requirements. Make sure that the most current drivers are installed for the graphics card."

I have made no changes regarding the hardware on my laptop and have ensured that the driver is up to date but the error is still occurring.

I was previously working on MAGIX Movie editor 2019 but due to the error, thought it was better to upgrade to the MAGIX Movie Editor Pro 2022 however the error is still showing the same.

My laptop hardware is Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 and happily worked on the MAGIX Movie editor 2019 until the last few weeks (hence my decision to change to Editor Pro 2022).

Any help or advice is very much appreciated.

Apologies - can see on other posts that this is currently a known issue and awaiting a fix.

Thanks,

@Chloe-S

Hi and welcome to the use to user forums.

The 2019 version of MEP did not have this issue so although it is currently broken in the new version it should have worked before. Watch out on the forums for possible future updates.

The UHD graphics card is fine for Movie Edit Pro 2022 but you may find that without a supporting nvidia card that the program may be slightly more sluggish in use over the 2019 version as it could use older hardware better than the current version.
