Unable to install Independence library on PC (parallels) or Mac

I originally bought independence when it was Yellow Tools and enjoyed using it. It's been many years but noticed I still have an active license on the Magix website and wanted to reinstall the software.

I have downloaded and installed the application on PC (Parallels) and Mac (both work) but I am unable to install the library for either. I can download the installer but running it on both Mac and PC it cancels very quickly. On Mac I get this message (I have an internet connection which is how I downloaded the installer in the first place):

Is this a common error? I've been looking through forum posts but haven't found a solution.

UPDATE: Despite the above warning screens, I have come back to the computer a couple of hours later to find a message saying the library install was successful. And it all works. Might have been user error, but not sure how. Maybe it was downloading anyway and showed an error screen. Whatever happened - very stoked it's working again!
