Unable to login and export to You Tube

Hi, I am attempting to export a video directly to You Tube from Movie Edit Pro Version 20.0.1.80 . I have setup the account login details in File/Online/manage login details/You Tube. When I attempt to export to video, it opens a browser window requesting my You tube login details again. When I enter my email address, I get a "Couldn't sign you in" message stating the browser or app may not be secure. I cannot identify which browser Magix is trying to use. My default browser is Chrome. Any thoughts on how I can sign in?

@Levin

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

The general advice is always: don't try to use the built-in uploader, they rarely work properly! Not because Magix has "mucked things up" but because YT, and similar video sites, seem to change their upload protocols rather frequently!

Simply log into your YT account via your default browser and use the direct upload facility there.

Just as an aside: are you aware of YT's recommendations on encoding of files for upload, here?

G'day Emmrecs, thanks for the info and fair enough. I'll give it a miss. Wasn't aware of the encoding recommendations so thanks for the link. Don't understand a word of it - but thanks anyway :)
