Hi

You have not provided enough information - see this post http://www.magix.info/uk/please-do-the-following-before-posting-your-question.forum.621831.html.

However a good guess, assuming you are recording a piece of music playing on the PC or via the audio input sockets, would be you have a Realtek HD Audio card in the computer in which case:

1. Click the Start button and select Control Panel, Sound.

2. Click the Recording Tab and then right click in the central area - see image below where the devices are

3. Check Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices

4. Enable the Stereo Mixer if necessary

5. Click OK

You should now be able to record audio playing on your computer.

Hey John! Thanks for reply!

It is not about recording audio, this function works ok. It is about playing keyboard. Whe I press Magix midi keyboard (not even external one) i hear sounds. When I want to record it I change to "midi rec" then press play and play keyboard but the sound is not recorded. The recording bars are not showing up and when I reply there is no sound means nothing has been recorded.

I can insert loops and record but program is not responding to midi recording.

On this computer I work in Ableton Live and I have no problems with midi recording at all.

Is this a software mallfunction? Any sugestions please?
