Update fail, now not functioning at all

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me urgently.

I use a number of your Magix products to run my business (mainly Samplitude and Pro X) Today I ran an update for Video Pro x 12 and it has caused a major issue, I can no longer start the program.  Which means I cannot deliver a product for  my client tomorrow!

The files I have downloaded for the install (after the update crashed and trashed everything are)

videoprox12_dlm_izdg7q.exe

Video_Pro_X12_18.0.1.89_DLV_INT_201026_15-15_18_0_1_89

I tried Magix re-install procedures, (https://www.magix.info/us/support/article/reinstalling-video-pro-x--453/) it did not resolve the issue

In those suggestions it tells me to also manually delete numerous files - I did all of that and still the program would not start.

I reinstalled and uninstalled several times.  Every time at the end of the procedure the program fails to start at the end of the installation procedure. There is no error message, the installation finishes and even though 'Start automatically' is ticked - it does not start.  If I go to the program shortcut and try to get it to run from there - nothing happens.

All of my Microsoft system updates are up to date.

I have had to go through this labyrinth to find out how to even submit a request (it tells me 2 to 4 days).  I've paid for updates, it should not be this hard. I am hoping someone in the community can help?

Regards

Drew
