Update is not the best, if asked

To the Magix Team and all else who agrees or not:

1 Has anyone found it annoying to always close these advertisements that comes on at the end, and now the start ofa fresh opening maybe not a project load?

2 Has anyone found it quite troublesome to increase the size of the center window to see the templates choices. Wishing we had a better way to go into the titles as we did before this update. I may have to reformat the puter and not load the latest update to be prior to the new change but think Magix no longer allows that?

3 I am relearning the change found it quite difficult at first about simply clicking an arrow that looks like an "undo" and realizes it drops the title in. (lol)

4. When ever editing and adding clips half the time it will always play back at the start of the time line.

5 the time line adding vid/photo always never moves for better spacing meaning if I load 5 clips on it is hard to put the 7 and so on clip after the last due to the edge of the program, not leaving accurate space?

Not complaining , just finding some things a little difficult at first Just love to not see advertisement and the store joined in. and a better interface like we had prior to this last update.

Hi,

Can't view any of your images. Upload them directly using the upload button, not the link button.

1. When an advert pops up, click on the box, lower left where it says "Do not show again."

2. Centre window? There are 3 windows: Preview monitor (left side), Media Pool (right side), Project window (bottom, full width). I don't have a centre window. You can resize the windows and then save that under Window (top menu), Window arrangement, Save. Give it a name. The first one will have F10 as the shortcut, the second F11 and the third F12. Below is my modified set up, F10 to get it. F9 restores to the default windows settings.

3. Yes, it is different, but not an obstacle.

4. Mine does not do that except when I add transitions. When it has happened in other cases, the project was corrupt and I copied all and pasted all into a new movie (not new project), deleted the original movie and continued on. There is also a spacebar setting that you can change in the program settings.

5. You need to learn the different import modes, and how to use the zoom buttons at the bottom left of the Project window, amongst other things. See my tutorials on basic editing:

Point 2, what you call the centre window is the left side of the same window. I am away from home and don't have access to MEP2018, so I am going from memory. When you go into Effects, you get the full width, so you can see everything. When you click on one of the selections, the subfolder or dialog screen opens as part of the right hand side. Instead of text, you now have icons, but everything is still there.

To get the Title dialog screen, does Ctrl+T work in this new MEP? Normally this opens the title menu.
