Upgrade from MEP 2017 to MEP Plus

When I try to buy the upgrade why does it tell me that I am not eligible to upgrade and must buy the whole MEP Plus package. I just bough MEP 1 month ago and I recently decided to add a 360 camera to my collection so now I need MEP Plus.

I verified that my serial number was accepted and that you login to your magix.com during your purchase and that you are paying on is the same email as your mep17. ...I had no issues during my upgrade ..I still find the stitching hard to use ...if you get a 360 project please show us how you did it please

@tonytoes

Just to not confuse things, MEP17 is an old program, MEP2017 is the current one. Please always refer to the correct version with the full name.

@jamie-dixson

If seems that you purchased the basic version of MEP2017, not the Plus. An update is normally meant as upgrading to the new version of the same program, not going to a more expensive or elaborate version. Since you did not have Plus, of course it will ask you to pay the full price. Raise a ticket with Magix support and tell them that you want to go from basic to Plus and that you recently purchased the basic version and can they give you a special price to do so. They will reply. I have done the same thing successfully.

Good luck!
