Upgrade to Vegas Post Suite. Vegas Affects still says Demo version

MMguy wrote on 4/24/2021, 3:18 PM

Hi I already owned Vegas Pro 18 then I upgraded to Vegas Post Suite. Downloaded and installed everything except Vegas Pro 18 since I already have it but switched to new serial number. In fact I did try to install the latest download of vegas pro 18 but it said I already had it so did not need to install it. Problem is Vegas Effects 2.3.11116.40737 still says "demo version' in the Licensed to section. Also in Vegas Pro 18 on preview of video. I have windows 10 64 bit. A very fast pc so that is not the problem. Its the activation of Vegas effects that puzzles me. Any thoughts?

@MMguy

Hi and welcome to the forum - albeit the wrong one.

Can you tell us how you came to this forum? We are getting many users of Vegas Pro and Vegas Movie Studio arriving here only to be re-directed to the correct forum.

We would appreciate the feedback on this.

Vegas products have their own forum see the Important posts here.

Thanks

Hello, Yes On the Magix website when looking for help with my Magix product (Vegas Pro 18 etc) it only gave me Movie studio pro to pick from to get help. Apparently they do not have a link there at Magix support to get help with Vegas Pro. Thus that is why I was channeled here. It was not until I got here did I see a link in someones comment to the Vegas Pro support, but after I commented here. Hope that helps. Their site needs a little refining.

@MMguy

Hi

Thank you for the feedback.

We do know the issue is not confined to this forum only, the reverse also happens in the Vegas forum.
