Hello, all. I keep getting an update pop-up for a 49+ mb update on MEP 2022+. However, every time I press the update to download, and then close the program for it to install, the install just hangs indefinitely, because MEP 2022+ does not shut down properly. I then go to 'END TASK' in the Task manager, and I close the program in that, (Although it had already disappeared from my desktop), and when I open MEP up again, the pop up for the update reappears, and the whole cycle starts all over again, redundantly. I've then tried to update it after the program is closed, (Instead of choosing to update it when MEP is open), but it never closes in the task manager, and thus does not update. Again, I have to click end task in the task manager to properly close it. Because if I don't, whenever I open MEP back up again, it tells me it's already running and do I want to run a second one. Does anyone know what's going on with this? I currently have version 21.0.1.116. Whilst the update is labeled 21.0.1.119, yet it never updates because of this improper program shutdown. I did reinstall MEP 2022+, and the problem still occurs. I currently run Windows 10 pro 64 bit, (The latest version), with an intel i7-7700K CPU overclocked at 4.7 ghz, with 24 gig of DDR4 RAM, and an NVidia GTX1050Ti SC, GPU with 4 gig of DDR5 RAM, on a 1 TB SSD. (And 6 TB of internal HDD storage) Any info on this anomaly would be greatly appreciated.
