Hi. I have re installed Movie Edit Pro MX Premium on my new laptop. I am registered, the disc is registered, but i can't get a code to allow me to upload and convert MP4 files. Activate online tells me the serial number has already been registered to another email address.. error code-24. I have on my previous laptop received and used the one time activation code. Can anyone help?

Hi Mark and welcome to the Movie Edit Pro user to user forum.

As far as we can tell Magix are no longer supporting programs that ran on Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 7 operating systems.

If it is working on your old laptop I suggest you keep using it on there.

It's very unlikely it will run on Windows 10 and unless you already have the correct files stored as backup somewhere you are unlikely to get replacements from Magix.

This forum is not frequented by Magix staff so no-one of authority will be able to help here.

You can try to contact them through sales@magix.net but I doubt you will get a reply of any use to you other than 'Why not try the new version'.

Ray.

Hi

. . . . Movie Edit Pro MX Premium on my new laptop . . .

If that is running Windows 10 then you almost certainly will have issues with MX running properly.

What is the specification of your laptop?

. . . . Activate online tells me the serial number has already been registered to another email address.. error code-24 . . . .

Did you use the same email address as when you first registered the software?
