Hi I have an older version of Movie Edit Pro v 19.0.2.58. When trying to upload a video from Magix to vimeo a message displays asking me to connect my Vimeo account to magix. When I login into Vimeo I get a technical error message.I also encounter issues when trying to connect my camera to Magix it will not connect and keeps diidplaying a message that another version of Magix is open and do I want to continue. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi

I would not bother with the programs uploader - Youtube and probably Vimeo have changed the authentication methods that are needed to connect to them from within software.

Export the video to your computer in the required format and use Vimeos, or Youtubes if you use them as well, own web uploader.

John. Thanks any thoughts on the camera connection and the repeated message regarding another version running. makes it very difficult to get a video on the timeline as the software keeps losing the clips befor I can copy.

Hi

. . . .  repeated message regarding another version running . . . . .

My apologies, I thought this question was a result of the first part.

The most common cause of this is that when the program closes, while the interface does close, background processes keep running.

Using Task Manager, in the Processes tab under the Background processes section, look for any Movie Edit Pro, or VideoDeluxe, processes that are still running - if present, right click them ans select End task.

Also check the Startup tab that there are no entries for Movie Edit Pro - if there are disable them (right click).
