Use of MPEG2 files

I am using the download version of the above program and found I cannot use MPEG2 files. I receive a message "Function mpeg2 not available due to licencing agreement" Is this because it is a trial copy? Will I have this option on and authorised copy of Magix Movie Edit MX Plus.I am using Windows 10, 64 bit software.

Yes - when you purchase, get the Plus or Premium version, you will need to activate the codec on first use.
