Using Design Elements - Complex Geometry, Power of Simplicity, etc...

Dale-Bryan wrote on 2/18/2019, 1:16 PM

Hi folks my first question,

Using Magix Movie Editor Pro Premium. ver: 18.0.2.235

Desktop PC

AMD10, Radeon R7, 3.5GHZ

Ram 16GB

64-bit operating system

Windows 10 Home edition

This year I upgraded to Premium, I want to use the Design Elements 'Complex Geometry', 'Power of Simplicity' etc...

However after trying several different ways to get the images into the design elements, they all fail. I am assuming this is me not knowing how to use the Design Elements. Which means I am looking for a tutorial, any ideas?

Cheers

Dale

Hi

Design elements are fairly straight forward to use - ensure you have all the images/video clips on the timeline, select the first object the element is to be applied to and add the element - see video below

Note:

  1. Different design elements affect a different number of objects depending on which on you choose

  2. There are 2 different types, landscape indicated by > and portrait indicated by ^ at the start of the name

  3. You will not find the Collage I used in MEP - it is a custom one I designed several years ago

Okay, johnebaker, I checked out your video, then checked myself with magix to ensure i followed and it seems my misunderstanding with these collage images was how they were placed in the timeline. I understood this as soon I as I watched the vid you posted, thank you.

Thank you both again for responding
